  • A swarm is typically a small to large ball of bees hanging from an exterior surface such as a limb, fence or other object. A swarm is temporary and will usually move on within a few days. To remove this, it is called a Swarm Removal and can usually be performed quickly and effortlessly with little to no deconstruction of the surface the bees have landed on.
  • A Hive is a permanent settlement of bees usually INSIDE an structure such as a hole in a tree, a wall, etc. Removal of an established hive usually entails a more advanced removal process that is referred to as a “Cut Out”. This process usually involves cutting into the structure the bees are nesting in to remove entire nest: Bees, Comb, Honey etc.
  • WARNING: Please do not try to spray or kill the honey bees if they are inside of a dwelling wall. This will actually lead to MORE damage than having them removed properly. The bees inside the structure have lots of comb that contain honey and baby bees. They keep the wax from melting in the high temperatures inside of a wall by ventilating the air. If you kill the bees or block their exit it will cause them to be unable to keep the wax cool, the wax will then melt and the honey and brood will run down the inside of the wall causing more damage than necessary.
