1. Minutes for 2-12-2019 were read and approved.
a. Old Business
i. Earth Day—Club approved to give out seed packets and brochures.
1. A motion was made and approved for the Club to spend up to $200 for Earth Day
without the Club approving every small incidental.
2. The club decided to not have any club members sell honey at Earth Day Event or
Field Day Event.
ii. Field Day—National Honey Board has free recipe books and menus. Kris Liddle is taking
the action on this.
1. We needed someone to call the Beekeeping Supply Houses and ask for
donations for our Field Day. Kris Liddle is also helping out with this.
2. We need someone to work on publicity. Stacey Mortenson volunteered to help
with this item.
iii. Increase Club Enthusiasm—a large conversation followed after our mentioning
paying for the volunteer who did the most to go to a seminar of their choice. We offered
to pay for the seminar, and discussion surrounding paying for the hotel ensued.
Currently, our club can’t afford to do that. Had to move on due to time limitations.

b. Dues—Annual Dues are due this month. Many people paid.
i. Pot Luck Idea—the idea was presented and approved.
ii. because it will be after Earth Day and maybe we will get some additional attendees from
this event.

c. Hive Management—Swarming/Blooming
i. Swarming was discussed.
ii. A long list of what’s blooming was discussed. I couldn’t get all mentioned.
d. Group Presentation—A presentation on Epi-Pens was discussed by member Mark Wolf. He had
a demonstration pen and we listened to the pen and he demonstrated how it works. Also
passed out an enrollment form from Auvi-Q to get an epi-pen for a reduced price.
