Meeting Minutes
Meeting was called to order at 1900.
Members present:

Secretary Report: Sep2022 Minutes were sent out to general membership for review. No corrections.
Minutes approved as written.
Treasurer Report: There is $1623.04 in the TBA account. Nothing pending.

1. Calendar:
October: Jimmie Davis
November: Life cycle of the Honeybee, Election of new officers
December: Christmas Party
2. How to promote beekeeping to the local community: Bozeman HS has a FFA program, not 4H. There is a 4H agent at IFAS. Scott (IFAS liaison) has not yet gotten this person in contact with Skipper. Buddy has an old flier for TBA but has not found it at this time. (open)
New Business:
1. November Elections: The previous 2 elections resulted in no nominations or volunteers for board offices. The membership is encouraged to participate in the leadership of the club and consider running for an office. (open)
2. University of Florida Bee College will be held on Panama City Beach in the fall of 2024. Dates TBD. (open)
3. Swap Meet 28th of October at James Bee Farm 22821 Lamont Rd. There will also be a swap meet on Jan 28th and pick up of bees to go to California. (info)
Presentation: Jimmy Davis, Florida Bee Inspector. Members encouraged to register their bees. Jimmy discussed multiple different topics of interest to backyard beekeepers.

1. University of Florida Bee College to take place in Panama City Beach in 2024. Dates TBD. (open)

4. Tim suggested having coffee and cookies at the meetings. Voted affirmative. Tim will be in charge of bringing stuff. Chris Purchased coffee cups that are in the kitchen right now. (info)
