1. How to promote beekeeping to the local community: Boy Scouts/Girl Scouts (beekeeping is no longer a merit badge)? Science and Discovery Center on Jenks Observation Hive? Skipper showed pictures of observation hives with tube running to the outside of the building for bees to come and go. He saw these at the Raleigh Natural Science Museum and would like the membership to consider doing something like this in Panama City. Question about who would take care of them and how do you check and treat the bees. Please think about how to promote beekeeping to the community and discuss at upcoming meetings. (open)
New Business:
1. Charles Cromer brought up that the Facebook page and Facebook group could be linked. Skipper asked him to look into how to improve the TBA social media presence. Secretary sent a message to Fern Compton about the possibility of linking the 2 pages. (open)

New Business:
1. Skipper wishes to discuss with the membership regarding how to promote beekeeping to the local community: Boy Scouts/Girl Scouts (beekeeping is no longer a merit badge), Science and Discovery Center on Jenks Observation Hive? Showed pictures of observation hives. Question about who would take care of them and how do you check and treat bees. Will bring up to the membership to think about. (open)
2. This discussion brought up the question about the bee hives that had been a North Bay Haven School, as this had been a way to promote beekeeping to young people. Does anybody know what happened to them? Are they still there? The teacher that had been in charge of them is no longer working at North Bay Haven School. Jeff Bittel last inspected these bees when he was the VP. So that was over 2 years ago. (open)
