Treasurer Report: There is $1782 in the TBA account at Regions Bank. There may be a little more
deposited to the account after the Hancock account is closed out.
Secretary Report: asked if any person present had contact information for past members or interests to
please share that information.
Old Business:
1. Bylaws: A draft of new bylaws was sent out to all paid members after the August meeting. VP updated
bylaws to include emeritus members. He has tried to make these bylaws as simple as possible. There were
a few changes made in the interim but there has been no discussion regarding the bylaws for over a
month. The bylaws will be sent out to all paid members for review this month and will be voted on at the
beginning of the November meeting. This vote will be done at the beginning to determine if the officers
elected at that meeting will be for 1 year or for 2. (Open)
2. Website/Facebook page: No further discussion regarding the contract for the maintenance of the
Facebook page and website. (Open)
3. Bee Phone: Discussion of bee phone calls only being 2 for the last month. We will put contact
information for bee removal services on the website and Facebook page. Mark Wolf, (member at large)
volunteered to take the bee phone until such time as it is discontinued. He will work on member free info
to be put on these sites as well for people who wish to collect free bees if they are in a good location.
(Open)
4. Loan Locker: No new discussion on this topic. (Open)
New Business:
1. General Election to be held at the November Meeting: The current officers of the TBA were elected
during a special election in July to fulfill the remainder of the term after all board members resigned.
According to the bylaws can be nominated by email to the secretary and must be members in good
standing. In-person nominations will be accepted right up to the November election per the President. An
email was sent to all paid members letting them know that we are accepting nominations. One nomination
for president was received but that individual has not, at this time, accepted the nomination. Another
email will be sent out with the meeting minutes to remind the membership of open nominations and the
election. (Open)
2. Christmas Party: Motion and Second to hold a Christmas Party in December: Discussion of where and
when to hold the party and how to go about planning it. Voted unanimously to hold a Christmas Party on the
second Monday of December during regular meeting time. This party is to be held at the American
Legion Hall. The meat will be paid for by the club. Side dishes will be brought by members. A sign-up list

for side dishes will be distributed at the November meeting so we don’t have everyone bringing the same
thing. Secretary will look into having door prizes. There will be a wrapped gift exchange with gifts to be
$10 or less if you wish to participate. (Open)
3. Reminder that dues are due in January. $15/year. One membership can include spouse/family, however,
one paid membership gets one vote. (Info item)
