Secretary Report: March Minutes were sent out to general membership for review. No comments received. Minutes approved as written.

Treasurer Report: Dues continue to be collected. There is currently $1884.18 in TBA account. There are no payments pending from the club at this time.
Old Business:
1. Loan Locker:
a. Buddy Rich returned both OAV guns to the club. One is fixed, the other has a broken power cord inside the housing which needs to be rewired. Time Brehm is able and willing to do this. The second OAV gun was given into Time Brehm’s keeping while he rewires it. (open)

b. James contacted the Florida Beekeepers Association as well as the National Association . He spoke to multiple people who had no idea what he was talking about. They told him they have no equipment to donate. Neither do they have a program of that kind for local clubs to obtain equipment for a loan locker. (closed)
2. James Morris sent a letter to the government agency opposing the popcorn tree beetle proposed by the American Farm Bureau to eradicate the popcorn tree in Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and Florida. James sent out a letter and also made comments on the website. Feb 22nd was the cutoff for comments. He said there were many comments on both sides of the issue. Will have to wait and see what transpires. (open)
New Business:
1. Loan Locker Purchase: James Morris brought up buying 2 extractors for the loan locker for members to be able to borrow. He also brought up a group buy for refractometers. Much discussion followed regarding how many extractors to purchase, how many frames, manuals electric, requirements for borrowing, from whom to purchase. It was moved that the club purchase one 9-frame electric extractor for club use. The amount authorized to spend is $1000 or less. Members will need to give a deposit to borrow this extractor and it must be returned clean or that member will be barred from borrowing it again.

Voted and passed by club membership. Secretary will look into the different equipment suppliers as well as contact Elmore Herman of Millie Bees to ask about special pricing. Secretary will also find out what will be required for a group buy of refractometers. It was decided the club will not purchase one of these for the loan locker as they are fragile and easily broken. (open)

Presentation:
Jackie Falls gave a wonderful presentation of Apitherapy. There was much discussion and Q&A.
