Presentation: Chris Liddle presented on Anaphylaxis and the beekeeper. What happens during anaphylaxis was discussed. She presented her recent episode of anaphylactic shock and the need for all beekeepers to have an EpiPen. Physicians will prescribe an EpiPen for beekeepers and if you have insurance, these pens are affordable and potentially life saving. You can have an anaphylactic episode even if you have been stung previously (multiple times) with no problems.
