Minutes: Minutes of Sep 2021 were sent to the board members and general membership. No comments or corrections received. Approved as written.
Old Business:
1. Secretary paid $150.80 for next 3 years of Go Daddy account to host TBA website. Reimbursement authorized by the board at July meeting. Payment made at this meeting.
2. Loan Locker: Secretary asked about “square” account not being able to run a card but not charge it. President suggested running $100 and returning it, minus a $5 fee when the extractor is returned clean
(open)
3. Officer Nominations for November election: The only nomination received was for Jim Rish for President. (open)
New Business:
1. Homeschooling Group: We received a request from a homeschooling group for a tour of an apiary. I told the gal I thought opening a hive with unprotected children would be a problem. Secretary said minimally there would be need to be a waiver signed for each person present. This was discussed among the board. The possibility was rejected as a liability issue we are not willing to accept. Only people 18 years of age and over will be able to be at an open hive demonstration. (closed)
