Old Business:
1. Millville Community Garden: The fence is up. James Morris donated a pallet and 4 boxes. Amberley and girl scouts will be painting the boxes. There are no bees at this time. The garden was a lovely setting for the field day event and many people enjoyed looking at the gardens and the plants. (open)

2. Earth Day: April 23 10-4, set up at 9, Oaks By The Bay Park at the end of Beck Ave. Earth day went well. We had an observation hive set up with live bees that was very well received. We also had the learning hive set up to teach people about bees. We sold raffle tickets for a hive of bees. Charles Hay did honey tasting and honey sales. (closed)
3. Field Day: April 30th 10-3. We had an open plan with people able to wander from booth to booth rather than have sit down presentations and people needing to pre-register. Mark Wolf did 2 honey ex- traction demos with tasting. There was an equipment table with all the equipment laid out and people there to explain stuff. The observation hive was set up with live bees. Tickets were sold for a raffle for a hive of bees. Amberley had a table set up for children’s activities. The city provided tables and canopies as well as some snacks. We were unable to do an open hive demonstration or smoker lighting due to city restrictions. The Millville Community garden hives were behind fencing. No bees in them at this time. There were approximately 100 people in attendance. (closed)
4. Facebook Page: Question about the Facebook page vs the Facebook group. Spiffing up the website, new beekeeper information page or ability to send stuff to them. Admin should be someone active and local. Discussion about removing the names of people from the webpage if they are not dues paying members of the TBA. (open)
New Business/Q&A:
1. The Chipley club did a presentation on the Florida cottage industry laws. There was much interest in this topic. “Bee police” getting involved in people’s business? Discussion of using “Your Pro Kitchen” in Panama City for bottling honey. Members would like a presentation on cottage industries in the future. Discussion of having a tips & tricks/helpful hints/lessons learned section of meetings and being able to access it at other times. (open)
2. IFAS will be presenting Bee College in Panama City August 12 & 13 2022. IFAS is also giving out free seed packets to encourage pollinators. You can pick them up at the IFAS office. IFAS office is now open again. (info)
3. Tupelo is looking good this year. People are gearing up for a good tupelo harvest. Gal berry follows tupelo. You must remove your honey supers before the gallberry starts or it will be mixed with your tupelo. (info)
