Meeting Minutes
Meeting was called to order at 1900.
Members present:

Secretary Report: Nov 2022 Minutes were sent out to general membership for review. Minutes approved as written.
Treasurer Report: There is $1582.90 in the TBA account as of this meeting. Nothing pending.
Old Business:
1. Millville Community Garden: 1 box, doing well. Nothing new to report. (open)
2. Extractor: Nothing new, just letting it ride through spring. (open)
3. 2 Facebook pages: There is a Facebook page and a Facebook private group. Membership needs to be sure to join both pages. (closed)
New Business:
1. Dues now being collected for the 2023 year. (info)
2. Earth Day/Field Day: minimal discussion. One member brought up that combining the 2 would preclude many people from participating due to the political nature of Earth Day. CM Kidd will be having a tour/demonstration day in April. May be able to piggyback onto that. (open)
3. Council On Aging bee removal: Mark Wolf went to her home to evaluate the situation. No bees were coming and going. Will reassess in spring as needed. (closed)
Presentation: Watched part of a video on making oxalic acid Swedish sponges. James Morris was going to do a demonstration on how to make them, but that didn’t happen. Discussion about the sponges. OA vs other forms of varroa treatment. James Morris sold already prepared sponges to member who wanted them.

Board Meeting Minutes
Meeting was called to order at 1830.
Members present:

Minutes: Minutes of Nov 2022 sent to the board members/membership. No comments or corrections.
Approved as written.
Old Business:
1. Extractor: Nothing new (open)
2. 2 Facebook pages: There is a Facebook page and and Facebook private group. One can only be posted in by the admin, the other can be posted in by members. Membership to be sure to join both pages. (closed)
New Business:
1. IFAS Building payment: Treasurer moved we pay the IFAS bill for the year. Continue to collect donations toward use of building. Voted unanimously. (closed)
2. Earth Day/Field Day: Earth Day is 22 April. Discussion about what we want to do. Possibly combine the 2 events. CM Kidd Park has a demonstration day coming up in April as well. We could potentially piggyback on to that. Charles Hay has 6 tables that he is willing to let the club use as needed. Will bring up to the membership about what people would like to do. (open)
